He was the first Red Guardian (just not the first introduced into the comics). Introduce in Namor, the Sub-Mariner Annual #1 (1991) by Mike Thomas, Dana Moreshead and Phil Hester, Aleksey lost most of his family during the Nazi’s invasion of Russia during WWII. He was chosen by the Soviets to become the Red Guardian, Russia’s equivalent of Captain America, following his heroic exploits in the war. He was sent to Berlin to obtain the strong box of Hilter. During this mission he would meet Captain America (Rogers), The Spirit of ’76 (Nasland) and the Patriot (Mace).
He would fight alongside Cap (Nasland) with Namor during the the Potsdam Conference but would fight against Cap (Mace) and the All-Winners Squad during the Cold War. He was later killed during the Soviet purge when he objected Alexi Shostakov taking over the role of Red Guardian.
We haven’t a specific figure for Lebedev but any Classic Red Guardian, like the one from the Civil War Giant Man wave, can be used as this character.
