Well, this guy can be pretty Random. Introduced in X-Factor #88 (1993) by Peter David and Joe Quesada, when the young Marshall’s powers emerged, he went to seek help in controlling them. This eventually led him to Dark Beast, who gave him control but only if he was a double agent for Dark Beast to spy on X-Factor. Taking the name Random, he used his powers to appear older and used them to become a bounty hunter. He would eventually meet X-Factor and developed a crush on Polaris. He began working with the team but betrayed them and captured Havok for Dark Beast. He would turn against Dark Beast and freed Havok. After that he would pop up in other places like with the Acolytes against Quicksilver and later as a member of Magneto’s Genosha’s army.

He was later captured by the Weapon X program and sent to the Neverland compound. When the compound massacred the prisoners, he was left alive as he would prove useful. Following M-Day, he joined Exodus’s Acolytes and later the Marauders during the Messiah Complex. He would join other mutants in Utopia and would remain there when it was abandoned following AVX. When the time displace X-men went to investigate the residents attacked them until the X-men helped the residents move to renegade’s team. He would join the rest of Mutantkind in Krakoa and would join the Red team.

Despite being a lesser-known character, Random has had quite a few requests from fans over the years, mainly due to the fact that he received a figure during the TB 5′-inch days. He would receive a figure as part of the X-men 60th Anniversary.

Bounty Hunter

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends X-men 60th Anniversary 5-pack – Random with Vertigo, Zero, Stryfe and Pretty Boy

  • Background:
    • This is Random as he originally appeared as a Bounty Hunter. This would become his signature look that most associate him with. It should be noted he is actually alot younger than he appears as he uses his powers to appear older.
  • Why do you need it for your collection?
    • While not an essential character, this is a figure you may want to get for your X-Factor display, either as a member, ally or enemy. Similar to the X-men, Acolytes, Marauders and more.
  • Does it need a remake?
    • No.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
