I hate to tell you people. That ain’t a helmet. Introduced Ghost Rider (Vol. 6) #26 (2004) by Jason Aaron and Tan Eng Huat, the second person who took on the mantle of the Orb was born with a head shaped like an eyeball. He was abandoned by parent and raised in a freak show where he was kept in a cage and mocked. He would later become a mercenary and would be hired by Dan Ketch to work for the angel Zadkiel and tried to kill the Caretaker. He was injured and sent to prison, where he was broken out by Blackout and Deacon. They attacked the gates of Heaven and was stopped by the Gun Nuns.
He would go onto to commit petty crimes like bank robbery but was stopped by Wolverine and Spider-man, before all three were taken by Mojo for a time traveling adventure. He wasn’t seen again when he started seeing vision of the Watcher’s home. Teaming up with Midas and his daughter Exterminatrix, he invaded the Watcher’s based and shot Uatu, stealing his left eye. He took the eye but was tracked down by the Avengers. Orb used the eye to reveal many hidden secrets of the heroes present, IE. for Spider-man, it was revealed that there was another person bitten by the spider and for Hulk, it was revealed that Iron Man tampered with his Gamma Bomb. He was captured by the Avengers and taken to Avengers Tower.
However, he was rescued by Dr. Strange and Punisher and taken to a now aged Nick Fury along with other heroes. Fury tortured him to find out how to use the Watcher’s other eye, but this enhanced Orbs’ abilities. He freed himself and confronted Fury at Watcher’s home when one of the Watcher’s eyes merged with Orb. Orb took up the role of the Watcher in a twisted way to ensure events happen as they should. After aiding Dr. Strange with Mister Misery, he would be one of the candidates for the Phoenix force but was defeated by Valkyrie (Foster). He was later killed by the inter-dimensional Masters of Evil’s Doom Supreme.
Orb is not a character that many people have heard of until Jason Aaron has begun using him more often. He was a major part of the Original Sin story arc. With the launch of the Engine of Vengeance Haslab, Hasbro decided to give us a figure of him as part of the (rumored) Avengers wave.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Avengers’ Puff Adder wave – Orb
- Background:
- This is Orb as he usually appears. His costume is inspired by Evel Knievel stunt costume, His head is not a helmet like his predecessor, but his actual head. How he talks is never explained.
- Why do you need it for your collection?
- While an obscure character, this is needed to build your Ghost Rider villains collections, which we have very little of. It can also be used for an Avengers villains gallery.
- Does it need a remake?
- No.
Needs
Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not facts. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
