Well, he is just as paranoid as his DC counterpart. Introduced in Avengers (Vol. 8) #10 (2018) by Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness, this version of Kyle Richmond was created by Mephisto for Phil Coulson to discredit the Avengers. He was made suspicious of General Ross and Phil Coulson on purpose, which Coulson took delight in. He was made congressman and was sent with the rest of the Squadron to fight Namor and his Defenders of the Deep. He would later be sent to fight the Frost Giants during War of the Realms and was one of the chosen few to take part in the Pheonix Tournament. He would fight against Black Panther but it lasted for so long that Phoenix just picked Black Panther to win. He would leave the Squadron after the Heroes Reborn event, wanting to restore that universe. He found the room where the Squadron was created and destroyed it. He resigned from congress and would fight crime to prove he was his own man. He would later be recruited by Black Panther in their fight against Mephisto and after defeating the devil, accepted the offer to join the Avengers.
This version of Nighthawk would recieve a figure as part of the second Squadron Supreme 2-pack with Blur.
