The ego one this one makes Emma Frost humble. Introduced in Iron Man #54 (1972) by Bill Everett, Mike Friedrich and George Tuska, Heather Douglas is the daughter of Arthur Douglas, the man who would become Drax. While one a family trip, the Douglas family was attacked by Thanos. All but Heather was killed (Arthur was revived and transformed into Drax). Heather was taken in by Mentor, Thanos’ father, and was sent to train with Shao-Lorn monastery. While training, she would encounter the Dragon of the Moon and believe she had defeated it. However, it began to corrupt her, giving her a God-Complex. The monastery was destroyed by Thanos and Heather was then only survivor. Using a Titan ship, she traveled to Earth and used her powers to force Iron Man to fight Namor.

After a brief encounter with Daredevil and Mar-Vell, she forced herself onto the Avengers, where she would encounter Drax and learn of her father’s survival. She was a candidate for the Celestial Madonna, but it was revealed to be Mantis. She would later take Hellcat to train with her monastery, much to the delight of many Avengers. She would return to the team to help against Korvac before using her powers to take over an entire planet. She was captured and put under trail by the Avengers and Odin, who made her wear a crown to reduce her powers. Valkyrie was made to look over her and the pair would join the New Defenders. She would eventually be taken over by the Dragon and was killed by her Defenders teammates.

She was eventually revived and would team up with her cousin, Sundragon, to go on adventures in space. They would try to make Quasar fall in love with her, but he rebuffed her. After the Infinity Gauntlet, she was chosen to wield the Mind Gem as part of Infinity Watch. She would eventually begin training Genis-Vell and would meet Marlo Chanlder, the then wife of Rick Jones, whom Genis-Vell was bonded to. They would become close and eventually shared a kiss but would break up when Rick learnt the truth and Marlo realized that she still loved him. Moondragon would eventually meet Genis’ sister Phylla and they pair would begin a long relationship. Moondragon was eventually kidnapped by Thanos, who made him read Annihilus’ mind to learn what Annihilus was planning. They would work together to free Galactus and stop the Annihilation wave. Moondragon would be killed by Ultron.

She was eventually revived when Phylla became the Avatar of Death. They would join up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and Moondragon would become the leader when Phylla was believed killed by Magus. She was eventually infected with a parasite and was kidnapped by the Church of Universal Truth but was saved by the Guardians. She eventually sought revenge against Thanos after he killed Phylla and would work to together with the Guardians to send he to the Cancerverse with Nova and Star-Lord. She would join Mantis’ Knowhere Corps. She was later replaced with another version of herself but returned to the Prime Universe and rejoined the GOTG.

Moondragon would recieve a figure as a 2-pack with her father as part of the GOTG Vol. 3 tie-in.
