Seeing Xavier being killed in front of him changed Magneto’s outlook on Mutants. Introduced X-Men (Vol. 2) #40 (1995) by Fabian Nicieza and Andy Kubert, Magneto took on Xavier’s quest to bring about a peaceful co-existence between Mutants and Humans. He would gather and train young mutants in use of their powers. However, Apocalypse would rise and take over America. Magneto and his X-men would become freedom fighters against the tyrant. He would also fall in love and marry Rogue, resulting in a child, who he name Charles after his friend.

Magneto would led the X-men in rescuing mutants and humans from Apocalypse. He would later met Bishop, who remembered the Prime universe and began working with him to go back in time and prevent this reality from coming to past. This led to the X-men needing the M’Krann crystal, which Apocalypse had. Magneto was capture and tortured. When the X-men invaded Apocalypse base, Magneto escaped and killed Apocalypse. Magneto would become the Head of Mutant affairs and began working with humans and mutants to restore peace in America. However, he would resign when it was discovered that he made a deal with Sinister. When Weapon X became Apocalypse, Magneto regathered the X-men to lead a rebellion but was killed by Weapon Omega.

Out of all the Age of Apocalypse character, beyond of course Weapon X / Wolverine, is one of the characters that has had the most figures made of him. However, for Marvel Legends, his only figure (so far) has been part of the second AOA wave.

Freedom Fighter

Recommend Figure:  Hasbro Marvel Legends X-men Age of Apocalypse Colossus Wave –  Magneto

  • Background:
    • Magneto’s AOA design is basically extremely similar to his Classic version, with longer hair and more purple in the costume.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • If you are building an AOA shelf, then you will need this. He was one, if not the main character, of the entire AOA arc. If that is of no interest for you or you aren’t a Magneto fan, then skip.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
