She fell for him so hard, she took his place. Introduced by Punisher: War Zone #7 (1992) by Chuck Dixon and John Romita, Jr., Lynn was an NYPD officer, who was attacked by a rapist. She was saved by Punisher, only to pull her gun on him, allowing her attacker to escape. When Punisher explained he was hunting down the criminal, she agreed to help him, using the station forensic lab to help track him down. They managed to track him down only for him to escape on a train, with Punisher following him and leaving her behind. She returned to her apartment but was being followed by the assassin Stiletto. When Punisher went to her apartment after killing the criminal, only for Stiletto to attack her. He was killed by Punisher and Lynn rewarded him with a kiss. She would then quit the force after a child rapist was acquitted of a crime. She would eventually kill this rapist via a sniper rifle into his prison cell.

She would then take up the mantle of Punisher (dubbed Lady Punisher by fans) when Frank was believed to have been killed. She began working with Payback when they were both targeted by VIGIL, a group that wanted to rid the streets of violent vigilantes. They would continue to run, and eventually find out that Frank might be alive but constantly being chased became too much for her. She would eventually realise that this life wasn’t for her and walked away after reading Frank’s War Journal, where she found no entrance about her. Many years later, She would be recruited by SHIELD as a deep under cover operative. She would learn that Jigsaw was planning to kill Frank so she took the identity of a prison nurse known as Diamonelle. She gained Jigsaw trust and began working with him to brainwash other until she found Frank. Setting them against each other, she would have them both arrested but allowed on of Jigsaw’s victims shot him in his cell.
