I think this guy’s parentage would make even Jerry Springer go ‘Nope, not my problem’. Introduced in Ghost Rider (Vol. 2) #1 (1973) by Gary Friedrich and Tom Sutton, Daimon Hellstrom is the result of the Hell Lords wanting a human agent on the mortal plane. As a results, the demon known as Satan took human form and married Daimon’s mother Victoria, resulting in Daimon and his sister Satana. One day, Victoria happened upon her husband’s demonic ritual with Satana and began traumatized and institutionalized. Daimon and his sister would be placed in separate orphanages. Daimon would grow up and tried to become a priest but received a letter that he inherited his father’s estate. In the estate, he found out about his origins and was visited by his father. Satan tried to make his son join him, but Daimon decided to use his abilities to fight against his father.

Daimon, known now as the hero and occult expert Son of Satan, used his abilities to fights against demonic threats, even his own sister who had become a succubus. He would eventually join the Defenders, where he met Hellcat. After beating his father and having his Darksoul removed by Miracle Man, Daimon was freed from his role and retired from being a hero. Moving to San Franscico, he married Hellcat, and they became Occult investigators helping other heroes like the West Coast Avengers. However, he continued to grow weak without his darksoul so in order to save her husband, Hellcat summoned Satan and had him restore his darksoul. This droves her insane and eventually led to her death. He would restart his battle with his father and eventually became a father himself.

After battling with Selene, Blackheart and the Hellfire Club, he would join the Club as the White King. He would eventually help resurrect Hellcat by tricking the Thunderbolts, but she wanted nothing more to do with him. He would later become a Hell lord and would battle other occult menaces, but he would start growing increasingly arrogant, constantly jumping between a hero and a villain, including joining Baron Zemo’s Masters of Evil. He would later become a teacher in Strange Academy and would also join the Savage Avengers.

Daimon has a….well….let’s say awkward situation in figure form. He was originally part of the Haslab Engine of Vengeance project but that was never backed properly. At the time we were told that we would never get any of those figures outside that project. However, they seemed to have back pedaled and included him in the Strange Tales’ Blackheart wave. Though to be fair, it’s NOT the same figure.
