I wonder if he has to use horseshoes for his feet. Introduced in Fantastic Four #44 (1965) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Gorgon is the cousin of Black Bolt and Maximus. He grew up beside them as well as getting married and fathering two children. He eventually was sent by Maximus to find Medusa and return her to Attilan. He would come in conflict with the Fantastic Four but he managed to capture Medusa and take her to Maximus, who revealed he had only told Gorgon to do so to make Medusa his queen. Gorgon would turn against Maximus along his the rest of the Royal Family but this resulted in the city being sealed in a dome. It was later shattered and the Royal Family was sent out into the world. For the most part Gorgon would be seen with them, acting as an advisor or bodyguard to Black Bolt.

After Quicksilver stole a Terrigen Crystal and having it stolen from him, Gorgon was forced to undergo an secondary dose of the mist, which mutated his body into a more beastily form. During the Secret Wars and it being revealed that the Black Bolt they had been replaced by a Skrull, Gorgon would reveal he suspected the others may be Skrulls, but when he were proven wrong, he went with the family to find the real Black Bolt. He would later regain his old form and helped in the War of Kings. He was later wheelchair bound when he was shot in the back but that didn’t stop him from help with the Inhuman Diplomatic mission to find NuHumans. Later, after the Terrigen cloud was destroy, he traveled to Hala to find a way to create new Terrigen.
