The heir of Apocalypse isn’t very liked by Apocalypse. Introduced in Uncanny X-Force #13 (2011) by Rick Remender and Jerome Opeña, Genocide is the son of Apocalypse and Autumn Rolson, aka Famine from the first time the villain appeared in the comics. Fearing that Apocalypse would find their child as a threat, she fled with their son and hid in the Akkabba hideout in the north pole. His powers eventually manifested but he had to wear a life sustaining suit to survive. They were eventually recruited by Archangel, who had taken over the role of Apocalypse. Archangel tested his loyalty and abilities by sending him to destroy a town in Montana which led to to the creation of Tabula Rasa. When she learned of what her former friend was doing to her son, Autumn attacked Archangel, who killed her.
Following the defeat of Archangel, Genocide tried to take his place. He and his Horsemen summoned a Celestial who was willing to give him a Death Seed. However, he was attacked by The Apocalypse Twins, the future children of Archangel and Pestilence (Ichisumi). Uriel defeated Genocide and the Horsemen, while Eimin saved their mother. He would later convince Archangel that Clan Akkabba could prevent him from becoming Apocalypse again by removing his wings. They did remove them but also created an army of Archangel clones. They set up a cult in a town but were defeated by Magneto’s X-men. He was killed by the Death-Flight swarm but would eventually return alive. During the Krakoa era and after Apocalypse announced that he was leaving Earth, Genocide became enraged that he wasn’t one of the candidates that his father choose to become his replacement. He attacked the candidates, killing Armaggedon Girl and Rictor but was defeated by the rest.
Genocide is the Prime version of Age of Apocalypse’s Holocaust and thus many people think they are the same person. However, Genocide was introduced into the comic much later. None the less, he would receive a figure as the BAF of his own wave, under the name Nemesis because of his name not being PG friendly.
