Well…. he certainly let himself go later in life. Introduced in X-Force #1 (1991) by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza, GW Bridge was a mercenary hired by Cable to be part of his Six Pack team. They attacked on of Stryfe’s based but were defeated. He would join SHIELD, becoming a major member. Alongside former Six Pack member, Grizzly and Kane, and working with Department K, they formed Weapon PRIME to try and arrest Cable. They were defeated and he left SHIELD to hunt down Cable. After a while, he would eventually find Cable and they buried the hatchet, working together again.

He wouldn’t be seen until much later when he was tasked by SHIELD to reform the Six Pack to invade Rumekistan and capture their leader, Cable. They tried to discredit Cable before the free elections happened but Cable exposed them to the people. During the Civil Wars, he was sent to capture the Punisher but failed a number of times. He would eventually succeed but during the Skrull Invasion, Punisher escaped. When SHIELD was dissolved during Darl Reign, he was out of a job. He was captured by criminals wanting to kill Punisher and he and his wife were killed Microchip. He somehow was resurrected and began working with JANUS.

Possible Figures

  • Which has the best chance of being made? – GW is known for two things. Being a member of the original Six Pack and being a supporting character in Punisher comics. However, of the two, the most likely to be made is the original Six Pack version as it was the version used in the original X-men/X-Force toy line. If not that then the second Six Pack team.
  • How can it be made? – Ironically a lot of the parts needed to make this character can be taken from his friend/rival Cable. Since he was introduced in the X-force comic and was part of the original X-force line, I would think that a X-men retro style wave would be best for this character. Unless they want to do a Six Pack box set which I highly doubt.
