He started off as a Force for evil before becoming a Force for good. (Sorry). Introduced in Sub-Mariner #66 (1973) by Steve Gerber and Don Heck, Clayton Wilson was a young inventor and teaching assistant that stole tech that creates forcefields. He created a suit of armor and became the villain, Force. He would battle and be defeated by Namor before becoming one of the henchmen for Justin Hammer. He would fight Iron Man a few times but the number of deaths he caused him to regret working for Hammer. Hammer punished him by trapping him in his suit, but Iron man helped him escape Hammer and his suit by faking his death.

Now Carl Walker, he would begin working for Barstow Electronics and handed over his suit to Iron Man. However, Tony Stark noticed that this suit incorporated his Iron man design and confronted Walker. Walker inform Iron Man that this suit was given to him by Hammer, making Stark realize that someone had stolen his Iron man design and would lead to the Armor War. Later Walker would don the Iron Man armor to help Stark fight the Fixer. He would later be summoned by Rhodey to help him and a number of other Iron Man pilots to fight Ultimo as part of the Iron Legion. He wore the MKV (classic) armor.

Years later, he would begin working for the Pentagon, but a background check revealed his past and he was blackmailed by Sonny Burch into working on appropriated Stark Armors. He was misinformed that it was Stark that leaked this info when the Avenger became the Secretary of Defense. Stark would tell him the truth and would use his role to get Walker a pardon for his past crimes. He would begin working for Tony. Later when Tony learnt of the existence of a blackmarket auction, he hired Walker to buy out their stock. He was captured but Source Control and its leader Spymaster convinced him to turn on Stark. They turned against Stark but were defeated by Iron man and Ironheart.

Force himself has yet to have a figure made of him, but he did wear the Iron man armor for a number of occasions, particularly the MK V suit.
