His death led to the Secret Invasion being discovered. Introduced in New Avengers #1 (2004) by Brian Michael Bendis and David Finch, Pagon is one of many Skrull that took the place of humans to prepare Earth from an invasion of the Skrulls. He took Elektra place and soon joined the Hand, becoming their leaders. He would come under attack by the New Avengers, when he tried to turn Echo, then Ronin, into one of her soldiers. Echo would kill him, where he transformed back into his original form. This led to the Avengers (New and Mighty) discovering that the Skrulls were among them, leading to the Secret Invasion arc.

Pagon would receive a figure as a variant to the 2-pack of Elektra and Ronin.
