A slippery fellow, ain’t he? Introduced in Power Man and Iron Fist #92 (1983) by Kurt Busiek and Denys Cowan, Edward Lavell inherited the Eel suit after Leopold Stryke was killed by Gladiator. He first teamed up with Man-Mountain Marko to try and rescue Hammerhead from prison but was stopped by Power Man and Iron Fist. He was later hired by Nightshade to rob some socialites, but they were betrayed by Stiletto and Discus. He would be hired to be part of the New Enforcers before joining Justin Hammer’s Masters of Evil. He wasn’t seen again until he was hired by Lucia von Bardas in her revenge against Nick Fury and the hero who unknowingly helped him remove her from being the head of Latvaria.

He would later join the Serpent Squad under Sin’s leadership but was defeated by Bucky as Cap. They would later begin working under Hydra. At some point he became the head of a Maggia family. He tried to harbor an alliance with Mr. Negative’s gang and the Goblin Nation but was interrupted by Black Cat and Electro. He laughed at their threats and attacked the pair. After he was beaten by the pair, he was shown to Mr. Negative and Black Cat demanded Eel’s job. He recovered from his injuries and was invited by Hood to his meeting to get revenge against SHIELD for Pleasant Hill. He later joined Serpent Solution.

Eel (this version or the Stryke version) isn’t a character that many have heard of so there aren’t many people that were asking for him. He would however receive a figure as a filler figure in the Civil War Abomination wave.

New Enforcers

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Captain America: Civil War Abomination wave – Marvel’s Eel

  • Background:
    • Shortly after he gained the costume, Eel would upgrade his costume and redesign it. He would wear it as a member of the New Enforcer (the same team that Spider-man wore his Armor suit against.) He would switch between this and the design below depending on the artist. The suit is covered in a grease-like substance that makes it harder for people to hold onto him.
  •  Why you need it for your collection?:
    • If you are building your Serpent Society, then you will need this to add to that. It would also be needed for a Cap, Daredevil, Spider-man, or Avengers rogue gallery.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
