Known for his bowler hat than anything else. Introduced in Sgt. Fury #1 (1963) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, former circus strongman Timothy Dugan, nicked named Dum Dum Dugan, was member of Nick Fury’s Howling Commandoes, being his second in command. He would later join Fury as a member of SHIELD, but he was fatally wounded on a mission. Fury wanting to save his friend created an LMD that beamed Dugan’s mind to it. This LMD would continue to work with Fury for many years, which many people never found out about, including Dugan himself.

He was also put in charge of a team to fight Godzilla (when Marvel had the rights for the Kaiju). He would leave SHIELD a number of times but would usually return, mainly due to his at times tested loyalty to Fury. After Secret Invasion and with the rise of HAMMER, he set up a new Howling Commandoes, with a group of Super-natural members. He was later recruited by STAKE, SHIELD’s supernatural counterpart, where he learnt the truth about his body. However, when he learnt that his mind was still his own, he continued his work with heroes.

Dum Dum Dugan is one of the famous members of SHIELD but hasn’t gotten the true love he should in ML. He would receive a figure as part of a 2-pack with a Chaste Ninja which was a hard-to-find Variant.
