To this day, it is unknown if he is the real Doom or not. Introduced in Marvel 1991 Annual Report #1 (1991) by John Francis Moore and Pat Broderick, This version of Victor seemingly awoke from a long slumber in Latveria to the year 2099. He traveled to the capital and demand that the current ruler of Latveria, cyborg Tiger Wlyde, turn over the throne to him. A battle ensued where Tiger emerged victorious and ripped off Doom’s mask revealing his youthful appearance. Believing this to be an imposter, Tiger scarred his face and had his servant, Fortune, take him out of the palace to kill him. But Fortune wanted the throne for herself so she took Doom to the Zefiro clan to help him heal. Working together with this clan and the Pixel corporation, Doom used nano-technology and other devices to create a new suit of armor for himself. He then began taking back his country, attack Tiger’s products and aiding the citizen with food and shelter, earning their loyalty. After defeating Tiger, he became the ruler of his country again.
He would then fight against Pixel Co. and eventually took control of the company. He would later team up with the X-men, Spider-man, Punisher and Ravage of that universe to defeat Loki and his warriors of Valhalla. Skipping a bit, he would later run for President of the US and won. He reformed SHIELD with Punisher as the head and Ghost Rider as one of his enforcers. However, he would eventually lose his standing after a villain exposed him saying how he really felt about the US citizen. He would later return to Latveria and would continue to rule over it to this day, occasionally joining the Chrono Corps.
