He was their greatest warrior, which they wanted to defeat an alternate version of Scarlet Witch. Introduced in Force Works #1 (1994) by Dan AbnettAndy Lanning and Tom Tenney, the being that would become known as Century was created by the Hodomurian, using the combination of their greatest warriors. They wanted him to defeat Lore, a Scarlet Witch that had conquered dimensions. He was sent to intercept her but was pulled into the timestream and somehow wounded up on Earth. Amnesiatic and lost, he realized that his arrival was a beacon for the parasitic aliens, the Scatter, and thus allied himself with Force Works. He would join the team after Wonder Man’s death.

He would remain with the team, briefly leaving to find out about his origins. When the team disbanded, he would leave in search of Lore. He would later return and joined Wonder Man’s Revengers in order to stop the Avengers, who Wonder Man blamed for recent events like the Civil War and Secret Invasion. When they were defeated, and he was interrogated on why he joined the team, he confirmed that he eadrne a debt to Wonder Man for his death.

Possible Figures

  • Which has the best chance of being made? – Out of the two above, the classic version has the best chance of being made. The Revengers one could be made but given that Hasbro will probably only give us one, the classic one would be the one made
  • How can it be made? – Except for the Shoulder-pad and chains (it was the 90’s), this one can easily be done using the Hercules body with a new part of lower legs. As for which wave he could be put into, I am thinking the only place he could be place is in an Iron Man retro line. This is because, let’s face it, he is more famous for being part of the 90’s animated series than anything else. They could make a Force Work box set as well but that seems unlikely.
