A politician turned out to be a homicidal maniac…… Not that far fetched these days. Introduced in Extreme Carnage Alpha #1 (2021) by Steve Orlando, Gerardo Sandoval and Danilo Beyruth, Arthur is the son of Senator Peter Krane, a politician that was using the recent King In Black invasion to rouse anti-alien hatred in the people. Arthur was always a sociopath, killing animals for amusement and using his father’s influence to cover it up. His father become close to the Friends of Humanity and Arthur began plotting to take his father’s life, painting himself as a kind-hearted soul to the public, faking disgust when Peter start campaigning against heroes like Hyperion and Thor in order to try and gain presidency. At some point, the Carnage symbiote (which was now being controlled by the Kletus Cassady codex) began jumping from body to body until he got to Krane. Thinking he could use Arthur to get close to his father, he found that Arthur was a kindred spirit and chose him as his new host.

They tricked Agent Anti-Venom and Iron Man into believe that Peter was the new host and Carnage used his new Knull powers to control the Life Foundation and other symbiote to form his own Hive Mind. All the while, Arthur continued pretending to be a kind politician even defending Gemma Chan from sexist co-workers. He would eventually reveal himself to be Carnage and injured one of AAV’s friend before going to kill his father, ripping him into pieces in front of a crowd. He then sent his minions after the crowd until a team of heroic symbiotes, AAV, Toxin, Sleeper and Silence, along with some Guardsmen, stepped in to stop him. He was separated from by Iron Man. Faking that he was being controlled by Carnage, he took his father’s place in the Senate. He began working with Gemma, who had bonded with Agony and was working for Carnage.

This is one of the most recent versions of Carnage but, like many of his hosts, he has used this classic design. Thus, any classic Carnage figure can be used as this character.
