See what happens when you show off your intelligence. Introduced in Amazing Fantasy (Vol. 2) #15 (2005) by Greg Pak and Takeshi Miyazawa, Amadeus Cho was a child genius who easily won a gameshow. However, this was all a ploy by Pythagoras Dupree, who wanted to find and eliminate all his genius rivals. After Amadeus was named the 7th smartest man in the world, Dupree sent his men to kill Amadeus and his family. He survived and fled, with his sister, who Amadeus believed killed, being capture by Dupree’s men. Dupree’s men eventually tracked Amadeus down, but they also encountered the Hulk who helped the kid and earned his admiration.

After escaping from some SHIELD agent looking to have him registered with the SHRA, he discovered what the Illuminati had done to the Hulk and informed Mr. Fantastic that Hulk may not be where they sent him. When the Hulk returned for revenge against the Illuminati, Amadeus gain She-Hulk back her power, wanting her to join Hulk’s cause but she refused and sent him to seek the aid of Hercules and Angel. Together they recruited Namora and the female Scorpion but after Hulk was defeated, himself and Hercules were captured by SHIELD. They escaped and went on the run, arriving in San Fransico to meet Athena, who sent then with a team of assembled gods to battle the Skrull gods during the Secret Invasion.

After the pair joined the Mighty Avengers during Dark Reign, Hercules eventually fell in battle during the Fall of the Hulk. Athena appointed Amadeus as the new Prince of Power. However, he discovered that Athena and the rest of the Olympians wanted to rewrite the universe so worked with the Avengers to stop them. This saw Hercules revived and become the Sky-Father. Skipping a bit, Amadeus would eventually use his genius to absorb the Gamma Radiation from Bruce Banner to become the new Hulk. He later joined Ms. Marvel, Nova (Alexander) and Miles Morales to form the Champions, helping them also recruit Viv Vision. He would later join the Agents of Atlas, an all-Asian team and would later drop the Hulk moniker to take up the codename Brawn.

Amadeus Cho has been a fan favorite for a while and has been requested for some time but mostly for his Hulk forms. He would recieve a figure as the BAF of “The Marvels” movie wave.

Background:
- When Bruce Banner absorbed too much radiation and was in danger of exploding, various geniuses worked to try and stop him. However, Amadeus used his genius to absorb the Hulk’s radiation, curing not only Banner’s from becoming the Hulk, but also Amadeus transformed into a version of the Hulk. He took the mantle for a while even when Banner returned to be the Hulk.
