Yeah, maybe she shouldn’t have picked that person’s pockets. Introduced in X-Men: Blue #10 (2017) by Cullen Bunn and Giovanni Valletta, this version of Ororo was a street thief like her 616 version but this time she pickpocketed Dracula and he turned her into a vampire. She managed to free herself from his control and eventually found her place with the X-men. However, her bloodlust became too much and led to her killing a few members of the X-men, including Beast and Professor X. She was approached by an alternate version of the Goblin Queen and persuaded into joining her Hex-man, a team of demonic versions of the X-men.
The time-displaced Beast accidentally summoned the Hex-men to his universe and was transformed into Goblin Queen’s servant. The Hex-men attacked the X-men, but Cyclops managed to persuade Bloodstorm to switch sides and helped the X-men defeat the Hex-men, sending them back across the dimensions. With no place left to go, Cyclops offered Bloodstorm a spot on their team. She would remain with the team, and later joined Polaris’s team. She would also develop feelings for the younger Cyclops and would go on a date with him, trying to persuade him to admit his feelings for her instead of the younger Jean. However, before she could, she was attacked and stabbed through the heart by Ahab. Cyclops killed Ahab in revenge and carried Bloodstorm’s body, which turned into dust.
A version of Bloodstorm was made in figure form in the Strange Tales’ Blackheart wave.

- Background:
- When she first appeared, this version of Bloodstorm had pretty much the same design as her Mutant X counterpart, with some minor differences.
- Why do you need it for your collection?
- Many people will use this character as the Mutant X version. HOWEVER, you can easily use this as the Hex-men version and have her be part of your X-men display as her and her 616 Storm counterpart existed in the same universe at the same time.
- Does it need a remake?
- No.
