His origins may be beyond my comprehension. Introduced in Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars #1 (1984) by Jim Shooter and Mike Zeck, the being that would become known as the Beyonder is part of a race of the same name. He was created by the rest of the beings and and sent to a universe, where he became that universe’s One Above All. When the Beyonders created the Prime Universe’s Molecule man, a hole opened in Beyonder’s universe, and he became aware of the Prime Universe. He would watch the Prime universe paying particular attention to Earth and became fascinated with its heroes and villains.

This eventually led to him travelling to the Marvel Universe and creating the pocket dimension of Battleworld. He then brought several heroes and villains to battle to see which was the greater power. This would become known as the Secret Wars. It ended when Doom stole his powers and the Beyonder was rescued by the heroes. He would disappear soon after but would return a few months later and took on a physical form that he is known for today. He began to study this universe and became close to Boom Boom. This eventually led to a second Secret Wars where at the end it appeared that he had died and created a new universe. He would be visited by the F4. He was made to believe that he wasn’t a godlike being after all but in reality a failed Cosmic Cube. (This was later revealed to be a lie). He eventually was turned into a Cosmic cude and later the being known as Kosmos.

She eventually went insane and took the name Maker. She killed 64,000 and was eventually sent to the Klyn. When the Annihilation wave attack the Klyn, Thanos used a Cosmic Cube to return the Beyonder back to his original form. After helping the Avengers with the Lost one, he joined the rest of his race as part of the Beyond. Eventually it was revealed that he had become part of the Omega Council, a council of god like beings.

The Beyonder has been a character that many people have been asking for for quite a while. He would get a figure in the Secret Wars retro wave.
