So, this is a talking ghost basket hound who is obsessed with superheroes? I think I found my spirit animal. Introduced in Doctor Strange #381 (2017) by Donny Cates, Gabriel Hernandez Walta, Bats’ original owner of sixteen years died of a heart attack and he was adopted by two other homes. He eventually came under the care of Dr. Strange, during the time when he was removed as sorcerer supreme and was now a veterinarian. Strange enchanted Batz so that people would understand what he said. When Strange confronted Loki to regain the Sorcerer Supreme title, Batz tried to help but the stress caused his heart to give out. In an effort to defeat Loki, Strange took Batz body to Yggdrasill, and offered it to the tree. Strange defeated Loki, who was sorry for causing the dog’s death, and regain the Sorcerer Supreme. After teleporting Loki away, Batz appeared in front of Strange as a specter. Since then, he has become a constant fixture in Strange’s home and has since joined the 616 Pet Avengers.

Batz would recieve a ‘figure’ as a pack in with a 2-pack with Wong and Dr. Strange.
