This guys theme parks make Disney Land look safe. Introduced in Marvel Team-Up #65 (1978) by Chris Claremont and John Byrne , Arcade’s past if shrouded in mystery. One account state that he was the son of a rich father, who he murdered to gain his fortune. He discovered he had a knack for killing and used his money to create huge deathtraps he called Murderworld. He would use this to become an assassin for hire. His father effort into battling superheroes saw Spider-man team up with Captain Britain (which also the first time the US comics’ readers were introduced the previously UK exclusive Captain Britain). He would then use his Murderworlds to try and kill many heroes, including the X-men, Ghost Rider and many more. He would also team up with other villains like the time he teamed up with White Rabbit to try and kill Wolverine and Black Cat.
After years of being the butt of the jokes for many super-villains, Arcade built an artificial island that allowed him to gain powers, but only on the island. He then kidnapped several young heroes from various schools, like Avengers Academy, and force them to take part in a Battle Royal style game. The young heroes did turn on each other before teaming up to defeat Arcade. He escaped but the young heroes began hunting him down. He would later be hired by Kraven for his Great Hunt, where the hunter began kidnapping animal theme villains and heroes and hunted them down in Central Park. Arcade was arrest by Captain Marvel.
Arcade is a long time requested villain that many fan (usually X-men fans) have requested for many years. It took a while but Hasbro have finally decided to release a figure in thier “Bring on the Bad Guys” wave.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Super-Villains Xemnu wave – Arcade
- Background:
- Arcade has only really had one look over the years, that being a white tuxedo with a big bow tie. This give him the looks of a comedian or magician which works with his theme park theme. As always, some parts have been added and removed depending on the artist like the rose shown in the comic image shown above.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- This is a villain that has “fought” many heroes over the years. The obviously group to get it for is the X-men as he has had the most contact with them but can also be used for Spider-man, Daredevil, Ghost Riders and many more.
- Does it need a remake?:
- No.
