Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. Did you all watch the first three episodes of X-men 97 season 2? I thought they were incredible. I was smiling through them all, especially Jubilee’s scene in episode 2. But…. enough about the mutants. Time to talk about the next major MCU project at the end of the month, Spider-man: Brand new Day. Today we launch of Spider-man month, where I will have a number of Missing Legends based around the Web-head himself. Like I have done for the previous themed months, we start this month with Ideal wave. Since Spider-man BAF waves seem to be a thing of the past, this will be a Retro style wave. I have had to change this several times dues to the fact Hasbro kept revealing figure that I had on it, like Scorpion and Boomerang. I tried to use as many character from the film in comic form as I could but most have had figures recently so I just used a substitute instead who had a similar name. Theme of the wave: Spider-man mythos particularly Six-Armed Spider-man/Other arcs

As for why I picked each (As always remember if I don’t mention it, they will obviously get a new head):

• Spider-man (Six-Armed) – If you watched the trailers, you would know that the movie is heavily hinting that the Six-Armed Spider-man arc and the Other arc were very influential to it. Now Hasbro has done the Six-armed Spidey twice….. and they both sucked!!! The first had a solid torso and the second could only move on the upper torso. BUT Hasbro has recently may the Dark Spider-man and that was amazing. Just repaint that into the Six-armed version like we all have been requesting. IF they want to make it different, they could do the alternate universe version like shown above, where he kept his arms and added sleeves for it.
• Bullet Point Spider-man – I wanted to include Bruce in this wave but the likelihood of a Hulk appearing in a Spider-man wave is low. But then I thought of an alternate version of Spider-man that was Bruce Banner, Bullet Point Spider-man. In this universe, Peter was the one to become the Hulk and feeling guilty that he had cause it and having been bite by the spider, became that universe’s Spider-man. This would use the RYV Spider-man with a new belt
• Spider-Queen – While we are still waiting for the reveal of who the villain is, it is heavily hinted that it’s The Queen or Spider-Queen. In another arc, she was the one that turned Spidey into the Man-Spider and was the reason for organic webbing (As well as stingers that have never been brought up again). This would use the standard female bulk with a new cape like shown above.
• Black Tarantula – Tarantula is at least appearing in the movie (as part of a montage by the looks of things.) However, we have only recently gotten an update to that character and I doubt they would do the female version. I could have added the Heroes for Hire version but I had already placed her in another wave. So I went and look for another Tarantula and found Black Tarantula. Now when he first appeared, he was an actual threat to Spider-man, being able to beat the webhead. The Mexican crime lord has since tussled with many. Has he is a much taller character, I’m thinking the Hercules body would work best for him.
• Looter – For our random character of the wave we have the Looter who…. well is a thief. He has clashed with Spider-man more then any other character. I think this would be easy with the standard Vulcan body with a new upper torso.
• Black Cat – Now onto the one I think every one has been requesting a new figure of in her classic suit, Black Cat. When the highly articulated female sculpt was revealed, there was a long list of character that people wanted to be made on it and there the top was Felicia. We can debate which one would be perfect for it but for me, I think the Black Widow would be a better choice for her, due to the clothed look of Felicia.

and that is yet another Spider-man Ideal wave. The sixth one. Eight if you include the Venom waves. What can I say, he gets along of mdia. None the less, tell me what you think of it in the comments below or on other social media sites.
