Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. On Thursday, we have the announcement that Hasbro is releasing a few sets based on the cult classic Marvel Vs. Capcom video games. There were four 2-packs as well as two mega-deluxe sets. Alongside with the Iron Man that came with the Proton Cannon on the retro card as well as Cable and Marrow, who they confirmed were heavily based on the MVC design (which in turn were also based on the comic designs before anyone comments), that gives us 13 of the 27 MARVEL characters that have been made from that game. (Note how I said Marvel Characters.) That leaves fourteen more characters left to be made in this style. So, I got to thinking, if I were to take the remaining 14 characters and put them into another assortment of this line, how would I go about doing it? Who would they face off against? Which would be the mega-deluxe? Here is what I came up with.

For this, I won’t bother going into detail about why I picked each set. Just know that I tried to include a Hero paired off with a villain (though one set had to have two heroes but there weren’t enough villains.) Since you can basically just repaint older figures with new part, assume they are using the same body as before, Like for Cyclops, OR an updated body, like for Magneto. I also tried to pair them up with “Big guy” versus normal size characters.
