She is more commonly known as Spider-Mom, which she agrees with. Introduced in Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #1 (2015) by Dan Slott and Adam Kubert, this version of Mary Jane comes from a universe where after Aunt May was shot, Peter and herself didn’t make the deal with Mephisto and May was allowed to die. She would move on with her life with Peter and eventually give birth to their second daughter, Annie. After the destruction of the multiverse, the family would find themselves on Battleworld in the region of the Regency. This region was ruled by the Regent, a superhero hating villain that used technology to kidnap superpowered being and used their powers to either capture more hero or kill them. During a fight with the remaining heroes, MJ and her child were attacked by Venom in their apartment, causing Peter to leave the battle to stop him. After the heroes lost the fight and Venom was killed by Peter, Peter retired from heroic to protect his powers.

Years later, after Annie’s power began to emerge, Peter used his powers to help others and was eventually captured. MJ and Annie were rescued by the resistance led by Hawkeye. She would wear a suit similar to the Regent suit and would team up with her family to defeat Regent. Following the restoration of Multiverse, Peter would redesign the suit to allow MJ to copy his power as well as her daughters, becoming Spinneret. She would fight many people including the Mole Man as part of the crime fighting family. However, as time went on and the comic skipped 8 years, MJ started to feel underpowered next to her family, due to the fact that her suit’s power depended on how far Spider-man and Spiderling were. She was approached by Liz Allen, who gave her the Venom symbiote. After the suit tried to get revenge on Spider-man, MJ manage to subdue it. The Venoms would recruit her to battle the Poisons but would lose the suit soon after. Her latest appearance was when she helped the Spider-army in their battle against the Inheritors in Spider-geddon.

Due to the popularity of the Renew Your Vows comic, people have been asking for a Spinneret for a while. She would eventually receive a figure as part of Renew Your Vows 2-pack which was part of the Spider-man 60th anniversary.
