His tattoo are a symbol of respect for the Aboriginal people that took him in. Introduced in Incredible Hulk (Vol. 2) #83 (2005) by Peter David and Jorge Lucas, this universe’s version of Hulk has pretty much the same origin as his Prime counterpart. After being hunted down by Ross’ forces, Banner ended up in Australia, where he was taken in by a local Aboriginal tribe. There he would remain even rejecting Magneto aid. After Exodus, who ran the country at the time, decided to capture all humans in the country, he came into conflict with Hulk and AIM. Hulk would take over Australia and began ruling over it. Magneto allowed Hulk to rule the country until Magneto’s Red Guard came to capture Betty Ross, leading to her death and Hulk joining the heroes against the mutants rulers.

At the time of the Box set’s release, House of M was the latest event that Toybiz could have based figures on. Out of the 4, Hulk was the only one to reuse the sculpt.

House of M Hulk

Recommend Figure:  Toybiz Marvel Legends House of M Box set – Hulk with Iron Man, Inhuman Torch and It

  • Background:
    • After being rescued by the tribe, Banner became the protector of them. He shaved his head and donned tribal tattoos in honour of his rescuers
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • Honestly unless you have to have every Hulk or want to build a House of M display (we currently have at least 6 characters from it) then I would say skip it. However, it is very unlikely it will get a remake.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
