He gave the main Galactus a run for his money in terms of hunger. Introduced in Marvel 2-In-One #4 (2018) by Chip Zdarsky and Valerio Schiti, when 616 Thing and Human Torch went in search of Reed and family after they disappeared following Secret Wars, they happened upon a universe where all but Earth had been destroyed. They learnt that this universe’s Reed that when Galactus first arrived on Earth, Ben was killed by the World Devourer. Failing to stop Galactus, Doom volunteered to defeat the menace by transferring his mind into Galactus’ body. Doom gain control of Galactus and went into space, where he began devouring everything in the universe except Earth. When Ben and Johnny arrived, he since his Heralds of Doom to Earth, hoping to use Ben and Johnny to escape this universe and feed again. Doom of the 616 universe help this universe’s Reed build a machine that allowed Emma Frost to transfer her mind to Galactus and remove Doom killing him. She then used Galactus’ powers to restore their universe.

No one asked to this version of Doom/Galactus. Hell most people never even heard of this storyline. None the less, he was included as a swappable head in one of the Haslab Galactus Tiers.

  • Background:
    • When Doom took over Galactus, for some reason the head was morphed into Doom classic look. Everything else is basically the same as Prime Galactus
  •  Why you need it for your collection?:
    • If you backed the Galactus project, then you will be getting this anyway. But if you want my honest opinion, the project could have done without it. Only if you are a huge Doom fan do you need this.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.
