In a world where almost everyone has powers, Cap proves he will always stand up for what is right. Introduce by Earth X #0 (1999) by Jim Krueger, Alex Ross and John Paul Leon, this version of Cap’s origins is pretty much the same up until he was tawed out by the Avengers and joining them. At some point he encountered Red Skull who told him Erskine was working with the Nazi and later, he was asked to run for presidency but refuse believing he should stand for the idea of America not the state. At some point, people began mutating all over the world and the Avengers tried their best to help as many people as they could. Red Skull would began stalking him, believing he could turn Cap into Hitler’s perfect vision. After the Skull murdered Bernie Rosenthal, Cap brutally murdered him. This shocked Cap causing him to swear never to take a life again and leaving the Avengers, whose member were eventually killed by Absorbing Man. He would also take the Cosmic Cube and gave it to Black Panther, believing Panther was the only person who wouldn’t be tempted to use it.

He would later join SHIELD and tried to help people who were starving in New York. The parasitic being known as Hydra then began infecting and controlling people, including Falcon and Sharon Carter. Between this and the mutations that was happening, Norman Osborn was somehow able became president and Cap refused to work under him, leaving SHIELD, which was later destroyed with Nick Fury killed. Searching the wreckage, he discovered a message from Fury that told him that Osborn was behind Hydra. Racked with guilt at the death of all his friends and fellow agents, Cap broke his oath and swore to kill Osborn, with the aid of Wyatt Wingfoot, the hero Redwing. While searching in Washington, they discovered a flag with a red Punisher logo on it. Cap took this to be that Red Skull had somehow returned. They travelled to California to discovered it was Red Skull but a boy going by the name of Skull and using his powers to control super-humans, including Namor. He turned Wyatt against Cap and allowed Cap to leave being the only human in the states with his mind free. Beaten and broken, Cap remained among the enslaved humans where he encountered Daredevil.Marching with the enslaved army, Cap sent Daredevil’s fellow circus performers to Cyclops to train them as the X-men.

Along with DD, they went to the Thing and asked him for help in stopping the Skull. With Lockjaw’s tuning fork, Cap began teleporting around the world and recruited his one army of heroes. However, that proved futile as the army were taken over by Skull. Nearly killed, he was rescued by a long retired Spider-man. With the aid of Thing, Spider-man and the X-men, Cap formed a planned to distract Skull with beings that he couldn’t control and killed the boy. Skipping a bit, he would eventually become the guardian or mentor to Mar-Vell. Cap would eventually sacrifice his life to save the young hero. He would later be choosen as one of the Avenging Hosts by Mar-Vell. He would aid Mar-Vell in building his paradise, until he decided to leave the Hosts to return to his family in the afterlife.
