Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. The latest film in the MCU, The Thunderbolts*, is being released in cinemas this week and you know what that means. It means I look at some comic figures based on the team and build a wave around it. For this I tried to pick five characters from the movie and picked comic designs for them from the time they were all members of the Thunderbolts as well as picked a few other T-bolts members. I tried to include members from most of the various tenures of the T-bolts, with the exception of the RED version but that was more the fact I didn’t think any of them would fit into this wave.

Here are the characters I picked for this Ideal wave:

As for why I picked each (As always, know when I am talking about the build, I always mean it will have a new head):

• Winter Solder (New Costume) – For Bucky, I decided to pick the time he was a leading the T-bolt following the Pleasant Hill incident when they were guarding Kobik. This would use the previous WS with new kneepads and arm.
• Yelena (Female, New costume) – For Yelena, I decide to go for her Widowmaker OR White Widow costume. I wanted her to be distinct from Natasha. This of course would use her “sister” body from the Avengers 60th anniversary line.
• Red Guardian (New Costume) – For Red Guardian, instead of getting an update for the classic, I decided to go for his most unique RG look. That way you can keep the RG as one of the many other version and this as Alexei only. This would use the Punisher body with new lower arms and shins with some pouches on the pocket.
• Ghost (Remake) – Next up we have Ghost. For him, I decided that he need a remake of his T-Bolt form. I wanted to keep his classic form for an Iron man wave. This was a SDCC exclusive originally so I think it about time they release him with a BRAND NEW figure.
• USAgent (New costume) – This will be the last one of the movie characters in comic form but For Walker, I decided to go with his most modern costume from what (AOWT) most recent comic. I don’t know why but I really like this design. This would use the Hydra Cap mold with a new torso.
• Jolt (New, Female) – Now for some character NOT in the movie, we have a classic team Member, Jolt. I have already included other T-Bolt characters in other waves so I decided to pick this as she was part of the original team anyway. This will use the Shriek body mold with the Electro effects.
• Penance (New Costume) – Now for a character from the Civil War T-Bolt team and one that many people have been wanting for a while, Penance. It’s not a new character but none the less is needed for a T-Bolt display. Because of his design, this would require a whole new sculpt.
• BAF: Headsman – For the BAF, I was going to pick Charcoal but there is a whole legal issue with that character so instead I want to the Dark Reign era and picked Headsman. This character has been drawn in various sizes, but he is usually depicted as a hulking monster, thus I think the Caliban build would be perfect for him.
