Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. Today the results of the last semi-final of the Best of Marvel Legends ’24 with the winners of the best MCU/Live-action figure, the best Gamerverse figure and the Best Animated figure all in one. I didn’t get as many votes in this week’s results but that is usually the case. Maybe next year with the return of the MCU we will get many more figures but for now let’s look at what we have this year. I want to get through this fast so I will only mention the top 3 in each category but as a reminder, all of these winners will move onto the finals.

Best Newcomer

Winner with 18.75%: Venom: LTBC Carnage

Barely taking the winning spot we have the main villain of Venom: Let there Be Carnage – Carnage. It only had one vote of a difference with three figures taking the second place with 15.63%, Arcade Sentinels, ’97 Goblin Queen and D+W Wolverine. Third place with 9.38% went to Prowler.

Best Remake

Winner with 39.29%: ’97 Jean Grey

For the remakes we have the remake of the TAS Jean Grey with X-men ’97’s Jean Grey….. or was it Maddie? Anyway, second place went to TAS Spider-man that came with the TAS Vulture figure and in third place we have the other two remake in the form of ITSV Miles Morales Spider-man and ASTV Spider-man 2099 with 14.29% each.

Best New Costume

Winner with 35.71%: D+W Deadpool

Winning the best new costume is a figure from the only MCU movie released this year, Deadpool and Wolverine’s Deadpool. But ’97 Nightcrawler wasn’t far behind with 32.14% while ’97 Magneto (X-men costume) coming in third with 21.43%.

Best Re-paint / Re-Release

Winner with 42.86%: ’97 Cyclops

This wasn’t even a contest with the clear winner of this category being ’97 Cyclops, with was a repaint of the VHS version with a new set of heads. Second place with 17.86% went to Contest of Champions Venompool and third with 10.71% went to Venom: LTBC Venom.

Best Villain

Winner with 30.00%: VLTBC Carnage

Back again with the win we have the best villain winner of Carnage. Taking second place with 23.33% was the Arcade Sentinels and with 20.00% was the ’97 Goblin Queen.

Best Female

Winner with 57.14%: ’97 Goblin Queen

Just like her comic and animated version, she was the runner up in several categories but the winner of the best Female figure goes to Goblin Queen. Jean ironically took second place with 32.14% and ATSV Spider-gwen took third with 10.71%.

And that is the best MCU, Animated and Gamerverse figure of the year, as voted by you. The finals will be put up later tonight so be sure to check back then.
