Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. While we await the two days of reveals this weekend, one set at MCM London and one set during 1027 livestream, there is another thing that is getting released this weekend with the release of the last Venom movie. By the looks of early review, this seem to be a nice send off to the franchise…..but you don’t care about that. You are here to see what I would pick for a comic book Venom wave. This one was a hard one as there is only so much I can do besides “Hey, another venom figure.” or “re-releasing the Carnage figure for the umpteenth time”. So, I picked out characters that are either connected to Venom OR connected to Spider-man.

Theme of the wave: Venom / Spider-man

Here are the characters I picked for a Venom wave.

As for why I picked each (As always, know when I am talking about the build, I always mean it will have a new head):

• Venom (Cosmic, new costume): For the main character, we, of course, have Cosmic Venom. Knull is supposed to appear in this movie so it would be great to have the cosmic Venom to fight against him. This will use the recent retro venom body with a new head and the ax. This won’t come with a BAF piece. Instead, it will come with a Sleeper pack in which could easily be Goose repainted.
• She-Venom (New character / Female): Next we move onto one of two female figures of the wave with She-Venom. This has been a fan favorite of people since she appeared and has been requested by fans for years. This would use the new Phoenix body. To make it interesting, it can also come with a MJ head from the RYV universe.
• Spider-man (Threat and Menace suit, New costume): For the next figure we have Spider-man. This time I pick the Threat and Menace suit (I can’t remember the fan name for this suit.) The reason i picked this suit is because there was a fake list a few months back that had this listed on it and now I want it in my collections. This would use the Amazing Fantasy body with new hands, knees and feet and will come with 2 heads representing the two forms of his mask.
• Spider-Carnage (Remake): For the next figure I wanted to include a Carnage figure but I didn’t want to include the small classic version again. So instead I thought I would use one of the many other people that wore the symbiote and my first thought was to Ben Reilly. You may be asking why not just make it the Ben Reilly Spider-man. Simple. This time I wanted them to sculpt the veins on the arms and legs as well as give him the talon feet you see above.
• Ricochet (Newcharacter /new costume): Next we have both a new costume for Spider-man as well as a new character, as this suit was used by another person after Spider-man. Plus these suits seem to be appearing in the new Spider-man cartoon so it’s a good chance that we will get them soon. I already included Prodigy in another wave, so this time I included Ricochet. This uses the RYV body with Havok’s jackey and new arms.
• Carrion (New character): Next we have a villain that we need to complete a team, that being the Carnage Family, Carrion. We have all been asking for this figure for years so now it would be nice to get him made. This would use the Vulcan body mold with the new forearms and pants.
• Lady Octopus (New characters): For the final figure, I decided to also try and add another team member to another team, that being the female Beetle’s Sinister Syndicate. We already have White Rabbit and the female Electro is rumored to becoming soon so I wanted to add Lady Octopus. This would require a new sculpt but the back pack and tentacles can use the Superior Octopus versions.
• BAF: Bedlam: For the Baf, I thought it would be nice to go back to the original Venom wave and have the BAF being another version of Brock. However, this time I choose a more recent version of Brock with a future more violent version of him, Bedlam. This would, of course, use the Monster Venom mold.
