Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. Hasbro just finished their Marvel Legends segment of this year’s Pulse-Con where they have revealed a few new figures. But before they did that, during the pre-show that they had with Pulse Subscription members, they showed off a VERY early prototype of the upcoming Rom the Space Knight. They explained to us that when they are testing out a figure, they just grab the closest plastic and mold it into what they need, so that’s why he is this color.

Unto the panel and they recapped the Kang figure (Up for order now) and showed off the Dragon Man figure as well, giving us a look at the size and articulation of the new MTO figure.

Moving onto the new reveals starting with what seems to be the final Spider-man: The Animated series 2-pack for a while. This will consist of Spider-man in his classic costume. This will come with three sets of hands, a loose mask and two unmasked heads, one of Peter and the other of TAS Flash Thompson. Joining him will be Vulture. This will come with his wings, 2 sets of hand and like he was in the comics, a young and old head. This set will go up for Pre-order now and as always with these sets is a Pulse exclusive.

Next, year is the 40th anniversary of Marvel’s most important event, and one of the most important events in comic history, the original Secret Wars comic. This will be on a retro style card based on the original toy line’s card back. All figures will come with a “shield” pieces that have a lithograph in them that you can remove and slot in another card piece into it. The villains get the silver square version while the heroes get the round orange version. They started with a character that didn’t actually physical appear in the comics but was the reason for the Beyonder (who also comes with 2 set of hands and an effect showing him making Battleworld), a character who made her appearance in this comic, Titania (comes with 2 sets of hand), the previously revealed Wolverine (which paint is based on the Original toy and comes with clawed and un-clawed hands and an unmasked head) Iron man (who was Rhodey during this comic but because the original toy had it as Tony they put Tony in the shield and comes with 2 sets of hand and a Grip hand, blast and smoke effects, a blaster that’s a homage to the original toy and……wait for it……detachable roller skates), Captain America (comes with 2 heads, happy and fierce, 3 sets of hands and a broken shield), and of course the suit that debut in this series and became one of the most iconic cover and costume of Peter Parker, The Black Suit Spider-man (that comes with 3 sets of hands and a classic head and an angry head). This is up for Pre-order now.

Like they have done during each Pulse con, they asked the fans what they would like to be revealed with the choices being one of Dwight’s, Ryan’s, or Dan’s favorite with Dan (who couldn’t even make it, lol) winning out. His figure was Uncanny X-force Nightcrawler, which is not the prime version of Kurt but the Age of Apocalypse version of the character. If the rumor of some more UXF figures are to be true, we will see Laura, Warpath and Archangel next year.

As for the standard teaser, they brought out a flat face. One initial searches and reading the rumor listing this seems to be a mask for Chameleon, which mean the rumored retro carded version will be comic based, since the TAS version used a belt to change his appearance.
