Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. Today, as you can tell from the title, we will start looking at one of the main teams of Marvel, the Avengers. However, this is only the first part. You see, there have been so many members of the team that I need to break it up into parts. There is also the fact that there are many teams that aren’t considered “Official” teams for the Avengers, like the Dark Avengers and Young Avengers. I will be using my own judgement on whether I consider a team official or not. If you don’t agree, tough. My site, my rules. I will be including some smaller teams later on (IE, West Coast Avengers). Thankfully, the 1960s all the way up to the 2000s is easy enough.

For today we look at the founding members as well as the 1960 recruits. Out of what we are missing, we need a Rick Jones figure, who I’m surprised we don’t have an A-Bomb version of. Jarvis may not be on everyone’s list but if you are an Avengers fan, he is essential. It has often been said that if it wasn’t for Jarvis, there wouldn’t be an Avengers. The only way I see him being done is as a Fan Exclusive or a First Appearance Avengers set. Avenger X may have been retconned into existence, but she has been popping up as a villain since then so she might get slotted into a wave at some point. Finally, we have Swordsman, who I already did a Missing Legends for so you can see what I think there. (If you want me to talk about any of these, enter it into the Missing Legends Requests form).
