Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. On Monday we learnt that with might be getting a Secret Wars wave to celebrated, like I said in the rumor post, probably the most important event of Marvel’s history. Like many of you, I am excited to see what Hasbro will make but I thought I would give what I hope is part of this wave. Note, some of these I’m taken a slight liberty with some of these, but they do work for this wave. Also before you start looking at what wave I have made, below you will see a poll asking you if you want me to created an Ideal Wave for the Strange Tales assortment that is rumored.

Theme of the Wave: Secret Wars and the effect it had on the Marvel Universe

As for why I pick them. Note: This will not have a BAF but will be a retro style wave like the rumors suggests.:

• Beyonder: Let start with the 2 obvious ones that I am certain will be in this wave, starting with the Beyonder. Yes before anyone says it, I know he didn’t actually make a physical appearance in the mini-series (Not until Secret Wars II did we see his now classic form) but come on. This is Secret Wars for crying out loud. This is the perfect place for him. This will use the Dormammu/Red Skull mold with some resculpts.
• Black Suit Spider-man: I can just see the comments. “Oh Black Suit Spider-man for then Secret Wars wave. How original.” And you know something, I don’t care. The Black Suited Spider-man cover is one of the best know covers of all time and having this figure in the wave is essentially guarenteed. This will of course use the RYV body.
• Titania: Now onto another character that was created for this series, Titania. I spent hour trying to decide if I should include her or Volcana but I choose Titania as she seems the most likely one to be coming. Why not both? Because I look at this realistically and know Hasbro wouldn’t make the two of them in the same wave. This is need a whole new scuplt for it to work.
• F4 She-Hulk: Now onto a figure that the Secret Wars essentially cause. After the Secret War, Ben remained on Battleworld and had She-Hulk take his place, in what would become the longest tenure any of the Filler F4 members had. This will use a modified version of her Hulk figure from the Super-Skrull wave.
• Classic Cyclops: Now for something form the X-men side of thing, we have Cyclops. Out of all the X-men in this series, beyond of course a certain Canadian, I think this has the best chance of being made. Like the previous few Cyclops, this will use the Vulcan mold.
• Absorbing Man: For the last one it was another tough descision. I wanted to include someone from the Wrecking crew but I didn’t want another “we will get all the members at some point” situation. So instead I went with another character I wanted an update for, Titania’s husband, Absorbing Man. For people that are going to say it, no. I have no problem with the BAF version. I just find it too big, despite being a character that can change his size. For this I think they should use the Hercules body with interchangable parts and a NEW ball and chain.
