Hey, my fellow Plastic Addicts. After what seems like forever, the Spider-man Across the Spider-verse movie finally releases this week. As I like to do for every movie, game or Tv show, I have designed a Marvel Legends wave around a comic book version of the series. For this wave I tried to do something different than the previous Spider-man/Venom waves, I decided that not only will this wave be based around Spider-man, but it will have many characters from across the Spider-verse. See what I did there.

As always, some rules:

• 6-8 figures per wave. No more. No less.
• Some version of the Title hero must be in it (Mile or Peter in this case)
• 1 or 2 Female per wave.
• 1 or 2 Villains per wave, but these could be female as well.
• 1 or 2 brand new character that has never been done before
• 1 or 2 remakes. The Remakes can also be new costumes as Like Classic Spider-man or Iron Spider.
• Each wave most have a Theme ie Spider-man can include Street Level heroes or Iron Man can include Tech Heroes and villains.

The Theme for this wave: Spider-verse

As for why I picked each:

• Miles Morales: Starting with the star of the movie we have Mile Morales. There are not many other versions for Miles left, so I thought this would be a good time to remake his classic (or the neo-classic) version on a pin less body. If they could re-sculpt the Gamer verse version so it would fit into a comic line, that would be perfect.
• Spider-Ock: For the next Spider-man and harkening back to the original Spider-verse from the 90’s animated series, we have Spider-Ock. This would be the figure that doesn’t come without a BAF piece. While the head and limbs will be from the RYV build but the torso will be new and unfortunately a single piece. This will be in order facilitate the tentacles (from the Animated Ock) but it should have the reverse peg that they used on the Dr. Doom, Kang and the upcoming Luke Cage.
• Last Stand Spider-man: Next onto something NOT from the Prime Universe, Last Stand Spider-man. Not only would this give us another version of Peter but also our first version of Ezekiel Sims (and probably our only version). This would use the GOTG Vol. 3 Star-Lord build with some new parts.
• Peni Parker: Next up we have the Spider that comes from the Anime universe, Peni Parker. Technically we already have this version as she was the BAF for the SP//DR wave. However, what we want is the civilian version. This will essentially be a repaint of the Stepford Cuckoos with a new overlay for the jumper.
• Spiderling: Of course, I had to include the daughter of Spider-man. We have gotten the RYV Mommy and Daddy, so they need to make this to accompany them. This will use the Silk body with a new head.
• The Spot: Taking up one of the Villains Spot we have the Spot. The proper Spot. Not the dad bod Spot. This will use the Vulcan body mold and will come with 2 heads, one with his face on it and the other with just the spot on it. It will also come with the same effects that the ATSV came with, maybe repainted to be Peter instead.
• Karn: For the Final figure, I think it’s about time that Morlun got one of his siblings to join him. I decided to pick Karn because of his unique helmet and harpoon. This would use his brother build, the Hellfire build, but would be resculpted slightly.
• BAF – Shantra: For the BAF of the wave, I thought it would be nice to include a villain from the End of the Spider-verse, the Spider-Wasp, Shantra. She is a character that likes to hunt Spiders similar to how her real-life inspiration (the Spider Wasp) likes to. This would use a new textured build with wings.
