She claims to be the granddaughter of Thanos. Introduced in Avengers #257 (1985) by Roger Stern and John Buscema, Nebula became known when she took over the satellite, Santaury II that was Thanos’ base and met and fought Monica Rambeau (then Captain Marvel). She tried to take over the Skrull empire after their home planet was destroyed by Galactus but was stopped by the Avengers. She would destroy Xandar, home of the Nova Corps and Firelord. She would then met her grandfather, Thanos, who burnt most of her body. After Thanos obtained the Infinity Gaunlet and destroyed half the universe and when the surviving heroes attacked, she took the gauntlet for herself and restored her body. She was defeated by the Avengers, Adam Warlock and Thanos. She was given over to Firelord and Starfox for punishment.

She would later be rescued by her pirate, who restored her body into a cyborg state. She would battle Silver Surfer and Jack Of Hearts soon after but wasn’t seen for a while after that. She would resurface during Annihilation, when she was a member of the Graces, who fought Ronan. When Thane sought to kill his father, Thanos, she was recruit to help. She had planned to kill him but he had gain a Phoenix Force egg which hatch to imbued him with the Phoenix’s powers. She went to Thanos to stop Thane, who let them go to the God Quarry. After they defeated Thane, she was left there where the illusions drove her insane. She would eventually escape and learnt that Gamora had killed Thanos. She went to obtain Naglfar Beacon and would come in contact with the Asgardians of the Galaxy. She then targeted Earth but was defeated by the Asgardians.

First of all, Nebula has not yet gotten a Comic Book version figure. HOWEVER, the MCU version has made can be used as a stand in as she is currently sporting a look similar to it in the comics.

Asgardians of the Galaxy

Recommend Figure:  Hasbro Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Mantis – Daughters of Thanos Nebula

  • Background:
    • In a sort of synergy, Marvel started to draw Nebula similar to her appearance in the movies. This was during the Asgardians of the Galaxy story arc, where she appeared as the main villains.
  • Why you need it for your collection?:
    • While the chances of us getting a comic book version is closer then ever thanks to her role in the MCU, if you can’t wait for it, then I would recommend getting the MCU as a great stand until then. Need for a GOTG, Asgardian of the Galaxy, Annihilation or Thanos collection.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • Yes as a comic version.

Needs

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
