Lasher (Ramón Hernández, Marvel Prime)

AKA;

Job security isn’t what it used to be. Introduced in Venom Lethal Protector #4 (1993) by David Michelinie and Ron Lim, Ramón Hernández was a mercenary working for the Life Foundation. The organization was preparing for a fallout of a nuclear war, hoping to provide comfortable living for their wealthy clients. They forcefully extracted 5 symbiotes from the Venom symbiote and Ramon was chosen as one of the hosts. He bonded with the green symbiote (unofficially called Lasher).

When Venom and Spider-man tried to stop the Foundation, he was defeated along with the other hosts and symbiotes. They later tracked down Venom in order to learn how to control the Symbiote but Eddy refused to help them because he believed that the offspring of Venom would become psycho like Carnage. He was then attacked by Scream who stabbed him with a sonic knife killing Ramon. The Symbiote survived.

Ramon, or rather Lasher, is a little known character. The main reason I even did a separate page for him is because the Symbiote and Host are 2 separate character, which I also did for Carnage and Venom.

Have

Lasher

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Spider-man Lizard Wave Lasher

  • Background:
    • This is Ramon when he was bonded to the Life Foundation symbiote that would later become known as Lasher.
  •  Why you need it for your collection?:
    • Unless your collecting all the symbiote for a Symbiote shelf like me, are a big Venom fan, or just need a few variety for your Spider-man villains, then this is a pass. Might also work for people who want a update to their old Toybiz figure. Given that Scream was also released, then you could get this to stand with his sister.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • No.
