Probably the greatest thing he could have done was dump the women who was using him. Introduced in Journey into Mystery #103 (1964) by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Skurge is the son of an Asgardian and a Storm Giant. He became a warrior and earned the name Executioner. He went to Asgard, where he was seduced by Amora, the Enchantress. He fell in love with her and became her bodyguard. The two would go onto fight Thor a number of times and even worked for Loki. After the original Masters of Evil were defeated, they teamed up with Baron Zemo and formed the second team.

They would later join Mandarin’s team and then brought Hulk to Asgard, who they fought and killed before he was revive by Odin. Because of this, they were banished. Skurge eventually left Amora for another woman. He would eventually battle the Defenders and Amora killed the other woman and Skurge became her’s again. Together they would help Loki gain the throne. Sick of being toyed with by Enchantress, he would later team up with Thor to rescue lost soul from Hela’s realm. When they received the soul and were being pursued by an army of the Undead, he bravely fought against the army to allow Thor and allies to escape. He died defending them and earned a place in Valhalla.

He would help Balder and Tyr try and stop Angela from taken over Hel but failed. Angela made Balder the ruler of Hel and Skurge would help fight back against the forces of Sindr. He was eventually revived when Kid Loki tricked him into joined the Asgardians of the Galaxy.

While we haven’t gotten a comic book accurate version of Skurge, the MCU figure is very close in design to allow people to use that as a stand-in.

Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Thor: Ragnarok 2-pack Skurge with Hela

  • Background:
    • While they design is different, you can see the inspiration for the MCU figure, such as the hair style and the colors as well as his blood ax and machine guns.
  •  Why you need it for your collection?:
    • If you are a Thor fan, then you need an Executioner to stand with the Enchantress. He is also needed for your Masters display. While we have not gotten a comic version, the MCU version will work for now.
  • Does it need a remake?:
    • Yes as a comic book version.

Below you will find a gallery of suits that still need to be made. I have included what I think are the possibilities of them being made. Note that these are my personal opinions and not fact. Please let me know if I have missed anything.
