He is the fourth and most powerful symbiote that bonded with Cletus Kasady. Introduced in Venom Vol 4 #7 (2018) by Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman, this symbiote is an off-shot of the Grendel dragon that Knull sent to Earth and was defeated by Venom. It was taken by a Symbiote worshipping cult, lead by Scorn, and revive the dead Cletus Kasady. The two would fight over control of their body but Kasady eventually won when the symbiote absorbed the Carnage codex in Kasady’s body, which transformed him into another Carnage Symbiote. Carnage then decided to free Knull and began gathering the Codex’s from all the previous symbiote wearer. This would eventually lead to the Absolute Carnage event. Near the end of the event, they absorbed the Venom Symbiote and transformed into the Dark Carnage form. They were later killed when Dylan Brock, Eddie’s son, activated his powers and Eddie killed Kasady. He separate the 2 symbiotes and believed it dead. However, it turned out the Symbiote survive and during the Venom Island event, bonded with Brock for a while. It was nearly killed by Brock and his son but escaped.

Most people think that Kasady has worn the same symbiotes the whole time, but this is not true as he had worn 4 different symbiotes, including this. This symbiote has only one figure so far, that being in the Venompool wave.

Background:
- After regaining control over his body, Kasady began hunting down everyone who wore a symbiote, starting with Scream. For a while he looked like a normal Carnage with a Knull symbol on his head, but would later turn into his more skeleton form.
Why you need it for your collection?:
- I would recommend getting this as your one Carnage figure as it looks to be the best version of the character. This is a most for Spider-man and Venom collections.
