Every Spider needs an evil counterpart. Pork Grind is Spider-ham’s. Introduced in What The–?! #20 (1992) by Barry Dutter and John Costanza, Pork Grind is an Austrian villain who studied how to fight like a Toon in university. He was recruited by Negative Forbush Man, an evil Forbush Man, to fight Spider-ham. The 2 had an insane Toon like fight which resulted in Pork Grind’s defeat.
And that really all I can say about him. He is really not someone that has alot of history and if it wasn’t for Hasbro giving us a swapable head with Spider-ham, I wouldn’t even know who he was. It should be noted that the head will work on the Venom wave’s Venom figure.
Recommend Figure: Hasbro Marvel Legends Venom Monster Venom Wave – Pork Grind swappable head that comes with Spider-ham
- As you might have guessed, Pork Grind is basically just the Toon version of Venom. As such he is an overly sized muscular pig.
- Why you need it for your collection?:
- Okay, there is probably only one or two people who have asked for this figure (basically cause most don’t know who he is.) It is a nice pack-in for an otherwise small figure (Hasbro proving once again that they like to have fun with their figures and give fans something different) and if you didn’t want another Venom as you may have the previous release, then this could make getting the two figures worth while just to put this head on that body. It is needed for your Venom-verse shelf though but not essential for anything else.
- Does it need a remake?:
