Cobra / King Cobra (Klaus Voorhees, Marvel Prime)

If your living in Marvel and want superpowers, just get a radiated animal to bite you. Introduced in Journey into Mystery #98 (1963) by Stan Lee and Don Heck, Klaus Voorhees was a Ex-con working for a humanitarian medical researcher in Norway when he became jealous of the Doctor success. He planned to kill him by having a snake bite both himself and the doctor, with him taken an experimental anti-toxin. However the snake was irradiated and combine with the toxin, mutated Klaus giving him powers. He took to crime as Cobra. He went to America where he first fought and was defeated by Thor. He would later frequently teamed up with Mr. Hyde but were constantly defeated by Thor as well as Daredevil.

He later joined the Serpent Squad under Viper (Stryker) command with Eel and later under Viper (Madame Hydra) command where they attacked Captain America. He was later sent to the Raft where he escaped after abandoning Hyde, who swore revenge. He then was invited and joined the Serpent Society. When Sidewinder retired, he was made leader of the Society, where he changed his name to King Cobra. He would later joined the Thunderbolt after the Civil War.

What started with Cottonmouth which was the first official Serpent Society member that confirmed Hasbro was building the team, we all guessed that the one person that would be made would be Cobra given his huge role in the Serpent Society as well as a major villain for a number of heroes.
